P330- Battery Combination Sealless Strapping Tool

Poly strapping is becoming more popular than steel strapping and there are now several tools in the market. Fromm’s P330 is a battery operated combination tool for seal less strapping. It uses the powerful lithium ion battery from Bosch which makes the whole process of tensioning, sealing and cutting very fast and efficient. All this is done at the touch of a button.

Ergonomically designed the P330 is compact tool with a small handle and is well balanced for all kinds of strapping positions. The tool is operated single-handedly and a great amount of tension is pulled. The unique feature of this tool is that it uses the friction weld sealing and this is becoming popular as it is strong and quicker to seal.

This tool offers an adjustable sealing time and has easy strap threading. When both straps are inserted together, the welding lever locks in bottom position and allows the preparation for the next strap insertion during the welding and cooling process.

As with most battery operated tools, this tool also comes with two batteries and a charger. The P330 is very dependable tool and is long lasting. The powerful battery has a charge indicator and can strap up to 200 to 300 applications per charge. The friction weld sealing has proven to be a strong seal as many still believe that metal seals are the way to go. With this tool there is a joint efficiency of about 75% and the tool has been reported to be very reliable by industry users. In fact, many have switch over to friction weld seals as they are cost effective.

The tool is also able to achieve a strap tension about 250 pounds to 1300 pounds depending on the strapping application. Another popular battery powered combination tool is Signode’s BXT2-19 and also weighs 3 pounds lesser than P330.

The P330 is compatible with a suspension bracket for stationary applications, a wearing sheet and plate for rougher surfaces, as well as a turning button kit.
